Public Relations and Copywriting

This portfolio showcases a selection of my public relations writing samples, highlighting my proficiency in crafting various types of content within the field of public relations and journalism. These pieces encompass a range of communication materials, such as press releases, statements, media releases and articles, all of which I have produced during my coursework in Journalism and Mass Communication at Samford University.

In 2024, under the mentorship of Dr. Betsy Emmons, I established a Public Relations campaign for my brand, Hey Sit With Us. Attached is the campaign goals, implementation and results.

For Phi Mu Foundation, I had the privilege of speaking on a panel on the importance of collegiate philanthropic participation at Phi Mu’s National Convention in Orlando, FL to a crowd of 700+ women.

For Brentwood Baptist Church, I have experience writing promo, ad, and targeted email copy for all nine campuses. Additionally, I have helped write and edit a number of devotionals, letters, and emails. Additionally, I had the opportunity to help write marketing copy for the rebrand of their Foster and Adoption Ministry. This work can be seen here.
