As a digital content creator for the last nine years, I have discovered a passion and love for creating and producing purposeful content that adds value to a brand. Over that time period, I have acquired skills in media engagement, influencer communication, graphic design and writing for specified social media audiences.
I am dedicated to understanding whatever brand I work for so that I am best able to communicate their mission. Every brand has a story, and I believe a story is what connects an audience to a product.
As a Collegiate Fundraising Intern for the Phi Mu Foundation, I have gotten to collaborate with two other collegians. I’ve gotten to promote the Foundation through engaging social media campaigns. By building relationships with Philanthropy chairs at chapters across the country, I’ve gained insights into the diverse needs of our sisterhood, nationally. My experience at the Fraternity’s bi-annual convention allowed me to work alongside a team to orchestrate events for loyal donors.
I’ve crafted various social content designed to resonate with current collegians and inspire them to connect with the Foundation. This work helps to inform about the resources available to enhance their collegiate and alumnae experience
For Hey Sit With Us, I have created sharable content on multiple channels (Tiktok, Youtube, Instagram). Each piece of content has been created with the brand mission statement and color pallete in mind.
For Something You Couture, a design studio in Birmingham, Alabama, I completed contracted social media management work. During my time there, I documented client fittings and collaborated with wedding day photographers and videographers to create engaging content.
For CREOATE, a start-up based in London, I created short form video reels as well as blog content to best reach their audience of small business owners seeking to sell their products wholesale.
